I am the Managing Director of Morton-Wilson Associates Ltd, and the senior adviser here. I help our clients to systematically and methodically align their financial resources to the life that they want to be living - in effect helping people to feel that they have got all of their financial ducks in a row.
My Story
If you meet me I'll probably introduce myself as an ex dairy farmer - and I still run my organic family farm (with less cows these days). But I am also a trained accountant, and a fully qualified and regulated financial adviser.
I started applying my accountancy knowledge to personal finances in 1993, and have subsequently been at Morton-Wilson Associates Limited since inception in 2000.
You can often describe your personal finances as a squishy balloon - because making changes in one aspect of your life will have knock on effects everywhere else. My job principally is to help you understand the constituent parts of your own 'squishy balloon' and the consequences any changes would have. The aim is always to make your personal finances as neat, efficient, and supportive as possible for you to get on with living your own lives.
